Come to the Midwest City Library (with your humans) on the 2nd and 4th Mondays each month from 4:15 - 5:45 p.m. and help kids bone up on their reading skills. We promise lots of attention and belly rubs as you provide an encouraging, non-judgmental audience for young readers.

Tutors do more than help improve gradesÂthey also help build self-esteem and instill confidence! Tutors are needed in a variety of academic subjects. Volunteers are asked to commit to one session per week.

Title:Ralph Ellison Library Outreach Volunteer Description:We are seeking friendly, reliable volunteers to assist Ralph Ellison staff in providing a mid-day meal to school-age children in conjunction with the Regional Food Bank and assist Library Staff with planned activities. The ideal volunteer has a positive attitude, enjoys working with children and being part of a team.
After training, responsibilities include greeting guests, physically helping with setting up, counting and distributing prepared meals, light cleaning of tables and chairs after meal, and assisting with crafts, story time or other child-centered activities planned by library staff.
