Gather your family or a group of friends and colleagues to collect essential items to donate to your local food bank. There are three ways you can donate:1. Directly to your local food bank find your nearest one here.2. At collection points in supermarkets across the country.3. By hosting a collection in your community or at your office for your local food bank.Over 90% of the food distributed by food banks in the Trussell Trust network is donated by the public - making your donations vital to help people in crisis.In addition to donations, food banks may need extra volunteers to help sort and pack donations in their warehouse, collect donations from supermarkets, and deliver food to people in greatest need.Find out more about volunteering opportunities where you live or how to donate to your local food bank.
