Description
Camp Hosts are a valuable part of the Volunteer Program. In exchange for a free campsite, camp hosts are responsible for volunteering at least 20 hours a week at the park and perform duties such as greeting arriving campers, cleaning off camping pads and fire rings, monitoring and cleaning restrooms, and picking trash. We'd also love to hear about any skills or interests you'd bring to the table. Camp Hosts are the eyes, ears and friendly face of the campground.
Camp Hosts at Pocomoke River State Park go through a short interview. If accepted, a background check and fingerprinting will be required. New Camp Hosts must commit to a single full month initially to ensure the situation is right for the host(s) and the park.
**Please Note - While all Camp Host sites at the park have 30A electric, only some are pet friendly and none have water/sewer on site. There is a dump station available in the park.
