Museum Historic Interpreter - Surratt House Museum


Share the Surratt House Museumm story. Lead guided tours of the museum, educate the public on the story of Mary Surratt and her role with the Lincoln assassination, and tell the story of daily life in Prince George's County during the mid-1800s and the Victorian era.

Individuals must complete a criminal background, including being fingerprinted, before volunteer service can begin.

Additional Information: Interpreters wear period attire.This opportunity is great for individuals with outgoing personalities and a comfort level with public speaking.

Minimum age for volunteers: 18
