Description

The Animal Welfare Department houses approximately 17,000 animals per year and utilizes hundreds of volunteers to help those pets along the way to potential adoption.

Animal Welfare Foster Program
Animal Welfare

Description

Join our Albuquerque Animal Welfare Department's Foster Program, and you can help save lives by bringing dogs and cats into your home and providing foster care to those who are too young or injured or sick for adoption and who need time to grow or recover before going to their forever homes. 

Additional info: The minimum age to join our Foster Program is 18 and an email address must be provided for contact and communication. A Foster Program Manual will be provided upon application and acceptance to the program.
