Groups or individuals can adopt a number of natural area parks throughout Prince George's County. Docent - Museum at Riversdale House

Docent Tour Aide - Montpelier Mansion

Garden Aide - Riversdale 

Volunteers, ages 18 and up, are needed to assist the head gardener in planting, watering, weeding, harvesting, etc. Riversdale is home to a beautiful garden abundant in flowers, fruits, vegetables, and herbs. This is a fun opportunity to learn about gardening on the grounds of a restored, early 19th century manor house. Scheduling is flexible on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Garden aide positions are also available on Sundays and for special events. Garden aides work hand in hand with the Kitchen Guild and Riversdale's head gardener to interpret our kitchen and historical gardens.
