Volunteers will learn about invasive and native plants and help preserve a healthy ecosystem by removing exotic invasive plants.  

Volunteers should expect to get muddy or dirty and should wear long pants and sturdy, closed-toe shoes.  Water will be provided; please bring a snack and a reusable water bottle. Tools and protective gloves will be supplied.

Minimum age is 13 years old.

Patuxent River Clean-up 2018 

Volunteers, ages 13 and up, are needed to help clean up the Patuxent River shoreline. The event is Saturday, April 7th, 9 am - 12 noon, rain or shine. Volunteers must be able to lift heavy bags of debris and should wear old clothes and sturdy, closed toe shoes/boots.
