Are you a fluent Spanish speaker who wants to make an immediate impact in people's lives? Help tutor a conversation club at the Novato Library to support adults as they practice spoken-language skills and gain confidence. This conversation-based session takes place on Tuesdays, 11:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m. (en espaņol). No experience required, just a willingness to communicate. Staff provides orientation and support.

Conversation-based sessions take place:
* Mondays 10:00-11:30 a.m. (in English) at the Novato Library
* Thursdays 8:30-10:00 a.m. (in English) at the Hamilton School Library.

No experience needed, just a willingness to communicate. Staff orients and supports volunteers.

Pandemic Response Aide, Bilingual 

Health & Human Services - Public Health

Use your language skills to help public health staff connect with Spanish-speaking residents during the pandemic response. Assignments vary. Conversations may be by phone or in person. The ideal candidate is a local resident with English-Spanish conversational fluency and good customer service skills. (Please note that in-person assignments are limited to volunteers ages 18 to 64 and follow public health guidelines, including physical distancing.) Volunteers receive advance notice of assignment details and may decline a specific shift. Staff provides orientation, supervision, and, if required for a role, protective gear.
