COVID-19 Contact Tracer Waitlist

Health & Human Services - Public Health

Marin County Health and Human Services is creating a waitlist of candidates without medical licenses (or with expired licenses) who are willing to conduct contact tracing during the pandemic response. Although volunteers without medical licenses aren't needed right now, contact-tracer roles may open if COVID-19 cases surge. The ideal candidate is a local resident aged 21 or over who is detail oriented, patient, and respects strict confidentiality. To join the waitlist, register here. Please note that registering doesn't guarantee an assignment. If the need for volunteers arises, you would receive a confirmation email and staff would provide orientation, training, and supervision.

Pandemic Response Aide, Bilingual

Health & Human Services - Public Health

Use your language skills to help public health staff connect with Spanish-speaking residents during the pandemic response. Assignments vary. Conversations may be by phone or in person. The ideal candidate is a local resident with English-Spanish conversational fluency and good customer service skills. (Please note that in-person assignments are limited to volunteers ages 18 to 64 and follow public health guidelines, including physical distancing.) Volunteers receive advance notice of assignment details and may decline a specific shift. Staff provides orientation, supervision, and, if required for a role, protective gear.
